If you've watched the Peaches Christ interview with Apollonia from July 2011, I have a question bout it. At the beginning of the interview, Peaches asks Apples, "were you and Prince ever in a relationship?" and Apples says something I make out to be, "Carmen Electra said ..size.. row of buttons, quarters? silver dollars?"

What was apples' response, because there were so many oohs and ahhs that I can't make out her answer for the life of me. ....what I guessed I was hearing was she was saying prince's D was the size of "a row of buttons"....? I can't tell what else it would be. I can't tell if she's making a joke about the size of prince's dick (as told to her by carmen) or what

if she is making a dig at Prince's D size i think that is pretty shitty... making fun of any person's sexual organ is low. We criticize other protegees for badmouthing Prince but this is one that would be really bad because she would be spreading rumors about his private and that after calling him "a best friend"... also, I find jokes like that to be low-class and mean, imo.

for the record I am a HUGE apple fan... even bought her 1988 album, think she's really funny and charming (and hot), and not a robot. Also, my bad if I completely heard it wrong and went on ranting for no reason

Really glad they're still gr8 friends. Always found Apollonia and Prince to look amazing together, a shame they weren't in a relationship but I have a feeling they had a fling (she and her husband were seperate and she had broken up with David Lee Roth), but yeah Apple and Prince looked HOT and like one of the Sonny & Cher, Ike & Tina titles. Always felt her softness was a nice contrast to his hard image back then... Vanity was more of a sister-image, like an evil female Prince

I can totally imagine the hotel room incident adds to the Prince mystique image

That's pretty much a PERFECT description. I honestly think it's the hair... it was so fluffy and soft and big, epitome of the 80s hair look. Add that to her shorter stature, very curvy figure, and she ended up giving off kind of a cuddly vibe. I was shocked seeing a pic of her promoting her album in 1988... her hair was straightened, and she looked VERY different. Looks even moreso today, and she somehow got even curvier. Her homely and cute look worked perfectly with Prince's hardcore womanizer rock star look back then, looked like a match made in heaven. they looked like they would work as a couple, because she seems opinionated but not batshit crazy (like her predecessor lol). And, I may be the minority here, I find her more attractive than Vanity too (even though Vanity was sexy as hell), and the Apple 6 album (+Manic Monday+Take Me with You) is better than the Vanity 6 album imo. her '88 album goes hard.

What? It was hard to stop shooting the sex scenes? Damn...

Yeah, that's what she said. In another interview years and years later, she claims they never filmed any explicit "in the act SEX" scenes, but sexual ones were filmed.

EDIT: another quote: "I will love Prince until the day I die." although she seems to harbor a lotta love for the little guy, she also was quick to point out he's a tyrant at times. Can anyone confirm if it's tru that she said Prince told her she wouldn't make it without him? Seems unlikely, considering he knew she came just for the movie + 1 album, and nothing else....
