New interview with Brenda Bennett on Dyes Got the Answers 2 Ur ?s

Hi all,

This is Kristi from "Dyes Got the Answers 2 Ur ?s." I'm posting a link to what will likely be my last interview on the blog. It's been more than four months since my last one, I'm in the process of trying to go back to school and, frankly, it's been increasingly difficult to dedicate the time to procure the interviews.

I just wanted to say thank you for reading all the interviews. I couldn't have gotten more than 43,000 page views in a year without this site. It was a lot of fun, the time of my life. I'll leave the page up for a few more months if anyone wants to visit the archives before I take it down. The link to Brenda's interview is below. Enjoy!

Good interview! I agree with her about "Manic Monday".That song really is too pop-ish and I don't think it would have fit well on the Apollonia 6 album.

I never had an extremely large fan base. Most of the views came through here, Facebook and word of mouth. So, I never counted on having hundreds of thousands of views. I have, however, had several people agree to interviews and then, when it was time to set things up, I couldn't get a hold of them again. It happens. That's the business. I consider myself lucky to get the ones I had. One valuable thing I learned when I went to a blog-writing workshop last summer is that all blogs have a shelf life.

also,it's interesting that she and Prince had plans for her to do a solo album.I wish it had happened! Immediately after A6 broke up,Brenda should have been given a solo deal on Paisley Park Records.

I think it's beautiful that she plays guitar

1 of the Twinz plays guitar and Gayle Chapman plays guitar

Thank you for this interview. Brenda deserves more recognition. Her A Capella album is great.

It's unfortunate people don't give the due that is deserved to people that worked with Prince, or even the time. Unless it's his newest lady. So sad.

How is the fan base dwindling? Dyes go thousand of people to come to her blog just to read about the side projects. ( They were great interviews and should keep them up.) I know as soon as I mention something from them on this board someone will complain no such interview ever exsisted.
