really was feeling that sister and since my sister introduced me to Rufus when I was a kid I kind of know to check out what she tells me to.

I find it strange that this release and the Andy Allo release are getting no recognition. Not a bunch of hits maybe, but the performance and arrangement on these albums with killer musicians all the way kills about anything out there now. That's the problem, the music industry today ignores funk and r&b by black artists these days, no matter how good the music is. Besides, their focus seems to be on 'pop' music mixed with hip-hop to sell to the youth. Not too many artists playing funk these days to be honest. [Edited 2/24/14 4:19am] | |
