Pete & Sheila Escovedo Solo Two/Happy together lps WOW.....I gotta find these lps somewhere because not only are they so funky but they are beautifully written compositions....

after listening to the samples from both albums, its obvious that Sheila would have made it without ever knowing Prince... | |

Yes! Sheila is a very gifted Conga,Drummer & timbali player. But I disagree. Sheila still would have been a highly sought after session player. She may have even eventually got a record deal. But not as popular as in star wise! If she didn't have Prince's guidance....Prince gave her a face and look. Sheila although very pretty! She was not as glamourous before she got with Prince. Prince helped her get a record deal with Warners. He also put her as opening act on his mega successful "Purple Rain" tour. He made her a star and sex symbol. Even though I will say Sheila helped Prince a lot to!
Now these sample re hot. I was lucky enough to witness Sheila & her whole family live All of them are gifted..  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |

I think that,if she had never became a Prince protege,she might have gone in an entirely different direction,artistically.She would have gotten a record contract,but would have played a jazzy type of music.None of the sex/pop stuff.That was an image that Prince created for her but I don't know if it's really who SHE is,as a person.here's the entire album as a download for my records and yours:
