Sheila E at BB Kings NYC So last Friday, 5/17...I went to see Sheila E for the first time by herself and SHE WAS INCREDIBLE!
She started with "Holly Rock" and ended with "The Glamorous Life"..."Love Bizarre" was mixed up in there and she mostly made the show a giant jam session! "The Belle of St. Mark" was played as well as "Koo Koo". She slayed us with the drum & percussion solos and walked through the crowd pulling people on stage! She looked beautiful and completely charmed us over.
She also shared how she has her own label and is looking for talent and exposed us to one of her artists, a young girl (15) who was Taihitian. Her name escapes me at the moment but the young girl did a rendition of Jesse J's "Price Tag" and sounded pretty good!
My only gripe was that the show was just an hour long!
I cant wait to see her again and hopefully the show will be a little longer!  &  | |

I did stay until she left and managed to get an autograph on my ticket stub!! 
I was there with wonder505, and then we hung out with Honestman13.
And awesome seats...

But I was told that she was really tired and she had announced during the show that she hadnt even had the chance to eat yet!
