Is Hannah Ford the new Sheila E? Looks like prince is rehearsing for some upcoming gigs with ford playing the backbeat. With the supoosed fall out with Sheila E do you think there's more too this? Maybe a little backhand from Princey land? |

It's not the first time he's had another female drummer other than Sheila E. remember Cora. When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

Sheila E started out as a protege, leading her own band, why would Hannah be 'the new' Sheila E
until she mirrors Sheila in being in Prince's camp at the best period in his career co-lead on Erotic City, open for the World Purple Rain tour, co-leads on A Love Bizarre plays drums on Pop Life & Alexis de Paris, drums for the SOTT band and Lovesexy etc etc etc
she could never be 'the Next Sheila E.'

she is nice but dont come close 2 being on sheila level let the girl just be hannah and enjoy that prince is putting her in the spotlight so her talent which is plentiful can be shown.people fail 2 realize what prince has been doing for the past few years he showcases artist let them get a run in his band and from that experience do what they please 2 do | |

She's got the potential yeah y not! Under the tutelage of Prince she could be right up there with Sheila. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

she can only be the next Hannah Ford, and if she isn't into being a frontman for her own band, which is how Sheila E started out in Prince's camp(not a drummer) then it definately can't happen. | |

Hannah Ford cannot possibly be the new Sheila E. because the old Sheila E. is the new Sheila E. and both of those Sheila E.'s are the only Sheila E. we will ever need in this world.

Wow!! U have captured the whole Sheila E experience. I was fortunate enough to meet her at a charity event which was a play Nona Hendrix starred in..My friend knows her also...I like her drive. With or without Prince she keeps grinding non stop...She loves her work & is a true beautiful talent. I wish Prince would have given Sheila The songs he gave to Andy. That could have been a Sheila E album.

Yeah, Sheila E has retained that hunger, I wish she would put together another Family Jam celebration.
This is a perfect time for it: the Time, Sheila E, FDeluxe, Jill Jones, Madhouse, Brenda Bennett, Andre Cymone, the Revolution (maybe expand the charity Bobby Z started with the Revolution reunion) do it on a weekened Friday-Saturday
I would love 4 her to do an album with a combination of the Purple soldiers^^^ now that would definately capture the spirit of purple music

Yeah I know, but do it more on the level of the shows she's been doing, do it in Minneapolis and over 2 days have the bands(maybe 2 or 3 at a spot) jam out songs
I don't mean getting Carmen Electra and people who have nothing really to do with that 1980s period
