Sheila E opening for George Clinton on June 30th at the Enghien Jazz Festival (FREE FESTIVAL!) near Paris, France

On June 30th Sheila E. will be opening for George Clinton at the Enghien Jazz Festival (http://www.enghien-jazz-festival.com/) near Paris, France. It's gonna be a superfunky night, and what's even better: it's a FREE FESTIVAL, so I will definitely attend!

A Dutch friend of mine attended Sheila's June 10th show in the Netherlands and told me that Sheila was in super form and performed all her greatest hits including Erotic City, A Love Bizarre, The Glamorous Life, The Belle of St. Mark, Oliver's House, Holly Rock, Sister Fate, Koo Koo, etc. as well as some funky new songs like Leader of the Band and Nothing Without You.

Sheila sent the following "teaser" photo to Funk U Magazine, saying that she looks forward to perform for her French fans in Enghien near Paris.

Cannot wait to see her perform live! C u there!

Sheila's show last night at the Enghien Jazz Festival was simply amazing.

I just found this video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/wa...CLQ41_4iHk (The credits mentioned in that video are not correct though: it's Sy Smith is on vocals, Rick Jordan on drums and Marcus Anderson on sax)

Later on that evening Sheila came back on stage with Uncle George Clinton who clearly adores her.

What a great Funk night!
