Yes, because no one had ever used imagery of the earth in marketing material prior to Prince. He's a visionary...

Much as I like her, I will be giving this a miss.

I think she looks beautiful as always. I must admit, there are similarities to Prince's marketing and visual style, but it's all good.

They're most similar in the fact that they both look like they were done by amateur graphic designers with incredibly limited skill sets.

Pretty sensible sentiments expressed in the podcast. She's lending her support to a Harrow based scheme to use public transport, car pool, push for hybrid vehicles etc.

first up- if you look at the blogs page this is what the rest of the site is like...it's a BLOG not an album cover. Probably with next to no budget, but for a good cause.

second- it looks nothing like that cover. Except there is a planet and someone looking at it. Not a unique concept.

third - every time I see the ragging on the work done on various Prince albums (or other projects/products) I think...let's see your work or what you consider to be good work. I'm curious what the standards SHOULD be. And don't go whipping out classical art, what in contemporary commercial art does it for you?
