But if you do play by 'their rules' look at the platform it would eventually provide for your music when you do win.

I am suprised they'd ask about singing Prince or Madonna, though, as they usually are only interested in whatever is 'hot' right now.

Maybe you can change the rules by showing them music of your own that is even better than what they are expecting to hear?

I am going to be honest with you right now. I hope X Factor doesn't let you sing one of your own songs.

The last song of yours I heard went something like:

Nigga, nigga

What, what

Nigga, nigga, what

What you wanna do

In the back of my truck

You wanna fuck?

You wanna cut?

Sincerely, though, I did show that video to a few of my friends and sometimes we reference it to this day because it was one of the most ridiculous things we'd ever seen.

eek lol

I was also wondering if X Factor was aware of the pimping/porn part of her 'career'. If not, and she makes it very far in the competition, that might become an issue if their standards are anything like American Idol.

Yes, I do. So bring a unique and original interpretation to 'Madonna Week,' should that happen. Don't count yourself out before it even starts.

She's a former protegé who was the lead singer for Prince's group " The Uptown Babes", and his ex-sidepiece.

Jesus, Robin looks good! Robin has to be in her late-30s by now and she has a better body than MOST 20-something year olds. I commend her on having kept herself up so well for all of these years. She has good genetics. I hope she "finds her king" if that is what she's seeking. With all of the negativity in this thread, it wouldn't hurt for some of you to share some words of encouragement rather than non-constructive criticism.

I was looking for it last night to post it but I couldn't find it. I think it could work as like the soundtrack to something like Trainspotting. lol
