Yup. And after that, he shaved her head and made her tear up a picture of the pope on SNL. nod

I thought it was Sean Penn & Madonna.

Nah! How, then, would they do to feel important?

They can't rely on the strength of what they write because they usually write nonsense.

But THEY ARE very important, and that's their way of letting us average mortals know.

Oh gawd I remember watching that SNL show.

And if people had actually listened to her, her complaint was the Pope's refusal to investigate child molestation charges. Oh gawd, fifteen oh gawd years prior to the rest of the nation finally calling out the catholic church. So, yeah, Oh gawd! Kids lives could have been saved if they actually listened instead of mocking her because she was bald and tore up a picture on SNL.

I personally applaud the fact of tearing that pic in public. It's for other things I don't like this girl.

I'd personally love to SPIT at the Pope's face.

confuse she never said anything about spitting in Prince's face. She simply said that there was a nasty altercation where he (allegedly) threatened to kick her ass."His problem is that I did a song of his ("Nothing Compares 2 U") without him being involved",she said."He's jealous. And he did say to me that he wishes I had never done his song.I think that, frankly, that song saved his fucking ass.He was in serious financial trouble until that song happened".

And let's remember that Prince gave her positive remarks following her Behind The Music so whatever beef there was, it's over with now.

Although Sinead might poke fun at Prince every now and then, she does that with any and everyone so it shouldn't be taken too serious. It's more tounge n cheek.

Uhh, she was nominated and performed on the Grammys prior to that. Her debut was a huge alternative album. She's had hits albums after. While, yes, Nothing Compares 2 U is her biggest hit, with her talent, I am sure another song would have done the same for her. She's also been nominated for a Golden Globe for her song contribution to a film so to think the world would have ignored Sinead is a huge stretch.

Ummm, well I wasn't in college at back then, so I didn't usually listen to 'alternative' music. I wasn't even a huge Prince fan back then, yes, I liked him a lot, but I listen(ed) to all sorts of different music styles and musicians.

That's a bit over the top. Sure Christians think that any Pope is the second coming of Christ but it's not like he is a seral killer. (Although if he was a seral killer you wouldn't be able to spit in his face)
