Misty gets a thumbs up I was bit late with all the Misty Copeland drama bla bla bla, but I just finished reading her bio on her official website and I'm impressed.
I'm impressed with Prince. I think he just might have found a great match for himself. She is an accomplished professional (unlike Mayte who is more of a stripper type of dancer, she sho nuff' was not good enough to land a spot anywhere near NYC Ballet)
So in other words, she has her own thing going on. Usually P's women are COMPLETELY dependant on him and his money/fame/power.
Also, this Misty looks like a mix between Mayte and Vanity so its definately someone he is attracted to. (unlike Mani which I think was just out of desperation or lonliness he married her - she was just at the right place at the right time)
Anyway, I hope she brings out some good songs out of him, thats all I really care about!
and I'm also excited about him spending more time in NYC since she's living here!!! yay! I hope I run into P somewhere I would die! | |

I hope this isn't Misty posting, if it is, you should stop until you can post openly with Prince's permission. Don't try and trick the folks here.
There's also the big chance that this is Bria or one of the other supposed girlfriends trying to make Misty look bad. She doesn't need the publicity, unlike someone else, since she's very successful anyway.

Misty - a pretty woman, a beautiful dancer with a lovely name.
I still would like to see her dance to Shelby J's wonderful rendition of Misty Blue with Prince on guitar.

what a weird post. I'm sure anyone cares if you give a thumbs up or your opinion of any of the women - or what the reason for Princes relationships with them. It's not even some bizarre catty post (really funny to watch some women here who have no chance in hell battle it out in cyberspace over a guy they will never meet...I mean REALLY....it's one thing be a fan or even have the hots for someone, but the depth of the delusion is remarkable) that can be a hoot to watch go down. Well, if a Mayte interview I once read is correct, she had some major accomplishments ballet-wise before she started working with Prince. Nobody can know where she could have ended if she had dedicated herself to ballet only. |

...Seriously, you're paranoid as hell.
Read up on the ballet world, and what their schedules are like. There's absolutely no way that's Misty. No dancer at the professional level that is employed by one of THE biggest companies (and ABT is one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the country, along with NYCB) even has the time to hang out on forums.
There's rehearsal for performances; there's the ballet classes that they have to take throughout their careers (in order to stay in peak physical condition - those classes don't stop once they join a company), then there's all the traveling - dancers on a routine basis have to fly all around the world; then the actual performances, and being fitted for costumes and pointe shoes....
Dancers honestly do not have the time to hang out online like that. Maximum they can do is short, quick things like Twitter when they can fit it in their schedules, and they even do that on a sporadic basis. Sometimes I think that just because she was his wife and mother of his child people patronize her. Whenever some one says something like they don't think she's a skilled dancer it's "oh don't say that. Be nice she was his first wife and had his baby" Like that's an excuse. I think she's a good bellydancer but sometimes she looked crazy on stage and I'm like..."Mayte what are you doin'?". | |

Misty seems to be a good ballet dancer in top form, never seen anything where Mayte danced ballet though I heard she did, but she seems to be more accomplished in bellydancing. And that's fine, everybody got their own thing, don't think she's a stripper so no need to downgrade her.

It's not because she doesn't look like a walking make up store -like a lot of 12-16 y.o. girls- that she's a baby, you know... She might look a few years younger than her actual age, but that's about it. Prince shouldn't be ashamed of working with a young professional and if other things are happening between the two of them, that's alright too (to me anyway)... More and more people are bridging the age gap 'romantically' - so why not them? | |
