LARRY GRAHAM & GRAHAM CENTRAL STATION KICKED ASS LAST NIGHT IN PARIS

All those who attended the "LARRY GRAHAM & GRAHAM CENTRAL STATION" show last night in PARIS seem to be unanimous: Larry Graham and his band kicked ass. The Funk was so hot, it dripped all over the stage and the audience! During the song "If you want me to stay" there was a special guest appearance by original BOOTSY'S RUBBER BAND lead vocalist GARY "MUDBONE" COOPER. After the show Larry took the time to come and sign stuff, including a brand new limited edition LIVE CD and LIVE DVD of one of his legendary shows in 1996.

Last night's Paris show was filmed for French TV (Mezzo/Arte) and should be aired in the near future.

The European Tour continues tomorrow with the following dates:
April 19, 2010 - 013, Tilburg, The Netherlands - www.013.nl
April 20, 2010 - Watt, Rotterdam, The Netherlands - www.watt-rotterdam.nl
April 21, 2010 - Paradiso, Amsterdam, The Netherlands - www.paradiso.nl
April 22, 2010 - Amager Bio, Copenhagen, Denmark - www.amagerbio.dk
April 23, 2010 - Savoy Theatre, Helsinki, Finland - www.savoyteatteri.fi
April 25, 2010 - KOKO, London, UK - www.koko.uk.com

I'm well excited now. All the dates seem to have got a very good response. I've got to have that CD/DVD as well. Necessary.

I just hope he gets to my gig in the UK okay with this bloody volcano kicking off. He only has two days to get here from Finland.

Larry tore it up when I saw him in San Francisco on April 2. The band played for two hours and forty-five minutes. I feel blessed to have seen Larry and Rhonda(with Jeff Beck) within two weeks time. Two of the baddest bass players around.

The CD was sold in 1996 as well, same show.
The DVD however is very nice, it was supposed to be released in 1996 as well, but never saw the light of day untill now !

Helsinki concert on Apr 23 is cancelled. I received a text message earlier today from Savoy Theatre and the ticket is fully refundable. Has to be because of the volcano, pretty much all flights are down.

I have the 1996 CD: it says limited to 1000 copies so i guess it's a reprint??? eek

Is the DVD from the same London show than the CD?

Nice show. I wished the female vocals were a bit lower in the live mix.

I am not digging that band - especially the white chick on keyboards who screams the songs

They were great live. It just doesn't convey as well on video.
