Of course, I forgot, Larry brainwashed poor Prince into acting against his own will. Prince just couldn't stand up to him. Perhaps Larry used physical intimidation and torture methods?

Prince has no free-will. No ability to make his own decisions. Larry was totally responsible for 'The Rainbow Children' and basically everything Prince does such as the running of 'Lotusflow3r' and being late on his taxes.

Perhaps when I see Larry at the Koko he will brainwash me? Could be dangerous.

Look. True or false. Larry Graham was the one that was mainly responsible for converting Prince to the Jehovah's Witnesses?

Now i'm not putting everything that happened after on Larry. That was all P. But i can blame him for bringing a lot of the wacky religious leanings to Prince.

And for being part of one of Prince's lamest band lineups. Larry WAS a bass genius in his day. His stint with Prince was WAY less than stellar.

Prince has been very religous since the begining. He has been preaching to his fans in his music and at his shows long before Larry came along.....some of you are just too blind to see it. I personally feel its always been about God for him....and that's not a bad thing.

Exactly! Anybody that is a suppose Prince fan should of noticed his spirituality from way back to 1981. He always was spiritual just as much as he was sexual...It was only a matter of time that he would have eventually dedicated his life to God. I could see it coming a mile away...He struggled with it during the Lovesexy period. The Lovesexy tour was divided between good and evil. Part 1(Dirty songs) Part 11(clean spiritual songs).Satan & Jehovah.... He always was looking for an answer & The Truth. Larry just opened his eyes.
eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

Of course, it's a matter of opinion.

But if Sly & the Family Stone are not a legendary group I don't know what is. Larry was doing things with the bass nobody had even dreamed of. Many other stellar bassists Bootsy Collins included, cite him. 'GCS' put out classic funk albums all through the '70's.

Woul;d you consider Bootsy Collins a legend? If not, then I can understand why you wouldn't Larry.

Regardless, it is, like most things, a perspective of individual perception.

I'm in no way suggesting I agree with all Jehovah's Witness teachings. I choose not to belong to any religious organization. But lets face it, Witnesses are rejected all the time ( lol ) and Prince does seem to have a strong will of his own.

I too, did not like the dynamic when Larry played with Prince and not on his own (as an opening act for example), but it was Prince who put Larry up there for hours, Prince responsible for the set-lists etc. Larry deserves to be solo anyway.

Prince is a grown ass man, there is no way any "man" is going to "brainwash" him to "their" way of thinking. Anyone that is so called brainwashed is always looking for something and when they find it, they dive into it like the holy river I'll be happy when people stop saying that. Dude is 50 somethin' now, that ain't happening. The JW faith is a legitimate break off of the so called Christian faith. It's been around since before I was born to say the least. P was looking for GOD and looking for the best scriptures to read for him to find it and he has. Or so he believes.
Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

I always said the same thing. Back at the Lovesexy shows when Prince was asking "Do U believe?" it seems a lot of fans just screamed yes cuz' they wanted him to sing 'Head'.
When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Hello to all hope every body had a nice day/evening. However to answer the question, FALSE. Princes mother was a Jehovah's Witeness which he had many, many conversation with her. Also as stated before he has always sung about GOD, spritual things, looking, searching for GOD, finding his way for his self.

Have a good wonderful rest for the nite.

Love 2 ya!!!
U R NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE NOR R U PERFECT!!
