A Special Message from Jesse Johnson

I got a text this morning and was told to open my email. When I did, this lovely message is what I read directly from Mr. Johnson himself:

I Just Need ta Say:
I am, as always, overwhelmed and most thankful for the love and respect I receive from each and every one of you daily. But today, on my day of birth, the LOVE, CARING, and RESPECT you have bestowed upon me has humbled me and touched my heart in ways mere words cannot fully express. You have made me realize just how F*****G fortunate I am in this lifetime to have such great friends.

If you don’t stop, I may become very spoiled by your wonderful show of love and affection and may have to put out a new HOTASS-SEXXY-SMART-FUNKY-AS-HELL record just to show my appreciation. Wink wink, nudge nudge, get it get it. ( ;-[]-)

(The new double record is “VERBAL PENETRATION” the official street release date is OCTOBER 27, 2009…YEAHhhhhh!!!!.... Yeah I know, finally!)

JUST SO YA KNOW:

It takes a long time to forget what cha know 2-reinvent cha Soul!! J.J.

Very cool. I hope he's KILLIN' it on the axe on all the tracks! High up in the mix too!

I hope the music is better than the title. His last solo album had a great title and geat music - a masterpiece. But Jesse is about as reliable as Sly Stone so I will believe it when I see it.
