This sounds good, but I'm a little suspcious of a couple of those folks listed as having worked with Prince: Donnie LaMarca? G Sharp ? When and where did that happen? I've never heard of either one of them.

This sounds awesome! I sooooo would love to see this. I haven't been to Minneapolis since the Celebration in 2002, and would love to go back. Irish Diplomacy: The art of telling someone to go to hell, and having them look forward to the trip. My give a damn is busted.

don't get your hopes up. they tried to hype it last year like prince "might" be there, but of course it didn't happen. and you know what? they didn't NEED him there. it was an excellent show with or without dude actually being there in person. the whole night was worth it to me just to a) hear eric leeds play his sax all night; b) have a chance to hear "modernaire" live; and c) hear the man himself, dr. matt fink, tear it up on the keyboard solo for "head". just for those three things alone, i was more than satisfied with last year's show.

That looks like it's going to be a fun time. Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.
