Just wanted to drop in and let everybody know i went to the see The Time last night in L.A. they opened for Teena Marie it was a good show. The only thing that sucked is that they had a fake Jerome holding the mirror, I was almost certain he was supposed to be on this tour oh well. Teena Marie got off too she has great voice live. Like i said just dropping in just in case anybody was wondering about the show.

I like to think that they are still good, though maybe not the full 7 out of 7.It is rumoured that the touring version we might be over here summertime and I am wondering whether to splash the cash on a trip to holland. Still can't make my mind up. Can you or Rhastus help?

I would go. The touring version is Great. Tori, Freeze and Jeff are all good musicians(and good guys) and of course you get Bean anchoring the drums, Monte holding down the keys and of course their is only one Morris Day.

Now the original band is the best live band I've ever seen. You get the 3 mentioned above plus Terry and Jimmy Jam who of course are the biggest producers of all Time, but those cats can play. Jerome is the greatest hype man ever and Jesse just burns everybody.

If you have never seen either version of the band and the trip isn't too far, I would definitely go

Thanks for the advice.. me and my son are now going. If they don't play the Bird my nine year old is going to cry!
The way I look at is that I can save the full 7 for later years.

I saw them in norcal a couple weekends ago and they had the fake jerome, fake jesse, and of course fake jam/lewis. and despite Morris' consistent sweating and cutting of songs, it was a descent show. JellyBean still look good to me! My heart went thump thump when he called me baby girl I miss the lady T. She still lookin good?
