Jill Jones picture on album sleeve 'O-Zone - Lil' Suzy' Anyone seen this before? Came across the album sleeve online today and noticed straight away that, if I'm not mistaken, the girl on the cover is Jill Jones....

I believe O-Zone had an affiliation with both Motown and Rick James, and Rick James was associated with Teena Marie, and Teena Marie is the cousin of Jill Jones.

Yeah,that looks like Jill Jones.Ozone was Teena Marie's backing band and they eventually did their own albums,and we all know about the Teena/Jill connection so yeah...that's probably her. | |

I know the whole Rick James/Teena Marie family. We were very close and I can say that Teena and Jill called each other sisters. I am a big fan of Teena, I think she is one of the greastest female singers in my book and Rick was the realest cat you could have ever met!! In this business the devil is constantly working on our souls. Creating mainly ego trips, and false identities. Only strong survive!! In this business you have to make your own way, have you own thing going on. Simply because most people are so busy doing their own thing and working to stay on top, they don't really have the time to help someone else. Just like with any other competetion, there comes insecurities, doubts, jealousy and envy. So, you take what you can get and run with it. Basically, how life works. Jill knew and work some of the greastest. I think we can sometimes be our worest critics thinking we are not good enough or we fear success so we remain at a stand still and become stuck. At the end of the day we are responsible for every choice and decision that is made. Removing ourselves of anything and anyone that is not helping us progress. | |

and thats a fact jack Their momma is black and Jill's daddy was Italian, what's the deal on Christeena's pappy? I still have this fashion mag with a photo spread of Jill back when Mia Boca was a hot track/vid!! She is very photogenic.

Still if Rick James can help launch the career of Mary Jane Girls and even helped Eddie Murphy with his 1985 album and Teena Marie helped Ozone, I didn't see how they couldn't help Jill before Prince got her,were they that threatening by Lady J's talent? | |
