Vanity Please excuse me for my lack of Knowledge, looking around the other threads i'm noticing alot of songs were written for Vanity, they obviously had a relationship other than musically... can some one fill me on Princes history with her?? There's some talk around town, that u really don't give a damn!

Can't blame him 100%, she was also wild. Prince is quoted as saying that everyone thought he would marry Vanity. She meant a lot to him. I believe they still love each other. Vanity has said just recently that Prince was the only man she ever truly loved. Just look at his ex wife she is the spitting image of Vanity. Its easy to see he never really got over here. | |

They were on and off. They were young. Vanity has said that P was her first love. I'm sure at times P probably felt overwhelmed and just needed to step back at times. I'm sure he loved her, but just wasn't ready to commit totally.

Wait! I thought they met at the American Music Awards or some awards event and she was there with Rick James. Yes people! Rick Fucking James! Vanity always liked a little hot sauce on her steak. Anyways, Prince is in awe of her beauty and he sends his bodyguard Chick or some other entourage dude to go ask her out and she fires back "Why doesn't he come up and ask me himself?" One of which was with Gene Simmons from KISS. Yeah, that ugly ass fool. the only good flick she made was Last Dragon with fine ass Taimak or whoever that dude was. She dated Adam Ant, Nikki Sixx of Motle Crue and a bunch other losers. She got fucked up on drugs, was actually using back when she was with Prince. almost died, became a born again christian and a preacher, married some tired ass football player and then wrote a book which I'm sure will either support or midly refute everything I just wrote. Yes! Gosh, Taimak is extremely cute in Last Dragon. I love the sound of his speaking voice in that role, LOL. Vanity played her character well I guess, but the film would have been much better without her music/singing, *Cringes*. YoungButOldSkool. | |
