I think she's like the only Protege in recent years that many fans were excited about. I'm not too worried about the album not coming out. She has a fantastic voice and a great look. Yeah, she's looking fine. But wow, so far Tamar is a huge disappointment. For someone with the kinds of credentials and raw talent that she has, she has made utter garbage for music so far. I hope she finds her own sound. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

I hate the fact that her cd wasn't released. I *&%$ the cd and it's slamming. If u listen 2 the first track "Closer 2 my heart", it is the same groove and music from Prince's " New Power Soul". My fiancee loves "Redhead Stepchild" cause of it's rock base sound. The best song 2 me on the cd is "Sunday In The Park". It's slow and so damn tight. This should have been released cause it would have been the best cd put out by a Prince artist in years next 2 Sheila E. | |

[Edited 4/19/08 22:28pm] She was in Girls Tyme the group that became Destiny's Child. The same girls that were in Gyrls Tyme were in destiny's child including Tamar. She was the 1st to leave the group she wasnt kicked out but choose to go to school and not go in the direction that DC was going. | |

So then she was the 5th member during that time? there were actually 6 girls, somebody connected with the Knowles camp, at the time thought there was a market for an all girl R&B group. they had a local/regional talent search and found 6 girls to form a group. that was your start of Destiny's Child | |
