Which of these Jesse Johnson ballads you love best?

I'm listing the 3 best love songs I think probably the Jesse has ever recorded. The nominees are: Special Love, I Want My Girl, and I'm Just Wanting You. I love all three but I have a special link to Special Love. From the moment I heard this song I fell in love with it. It was a classic and a disappointment to me that it was never released as a single. A true tragedy. But nonetheless I love it. To me it's better than I Want My Girl and that was a hit. Don't get me wrong, I love the others as well. Especially the twin guitar solo on Just Wanting You but still have to go with Special Love. How about you?

"I'm Just Wanting You" is the shit with that guitar and I have to say "I Want My Girl" because it was his first.

They're all good, but I'll have to say "Special Love" only because I heard it first as the b-side to "Be Your Man" before the album was released.

I think Jesse is a very good guitar player - solo and rhythm: Songs like Love Struck (the solo!) show his abilities. As a singer he is second rated.
and as a songwriter in my opinion he is better in funk songs than in Love Songs.
Dont want to underrate him he just one of my favourites - but he is just a good guitar player - thats all...

Those two are my fave strictly cuz of all of the excellent guitar work by J.J.
Special Love is cool cuz that was the b-side of his first release.
I Want My Girl I dig for some odd reason.
