Nikki Sixx on Vanity....

Sixx on Vanity agreeing to be in Heroin Diaries: "Vanity, considering where she's at in her life, really put herself out there in a way that was unexpected. She really did share with the reader where she's at today and what it was like for her then. I think it was really brave."

Also, on Howard Stern, Sixx said that he has spoken to Vanity recently, on the phone, for about 5 hours or so, and they spoke of everything that has happened over the passed 20 years, and he thinks she "doin' some really cool things with her life". Sixx says he feel "drugs killed Vanity" the persona and she's doing good and he supports whatever she's doing now. Howard also asked if she was good in bed and Sixx said yes. lol

Apparently he got over whatever bitterness he seemed to have towards her? He had nothing but horrible things to say about her in Dirt and Heroin Diaries, I felt so bad for her. I mean, the man said he wasn't engaged to her when she had a friggin' 3-4 karat ring that even Tommy mentions in Heroin Diaries (saying sixx and Vanity got into a fight once and he flushed it down the toilet)! What is he insane or just pure denial!? Why would he have kept her around for as long as he did if he couldn't stand her as much as he said he couldnt. Apparently, he pursued her for over 3-4 years before she accepted a date w/him so he was REALLY into her. I don't buy that it was only because of "drugs". You can find beautiful "druggie" girls to be your drug buddy anywhere. Sixx, I don't buy it! mad

Perhaps it was him not wanting to be associated with her.....But to be honest I never did like him. I think the biggest thing they had in common were drugs. I'm glad Vanity found her way to God.

That is cool to hear. He wrote alot about her in his book...they were together for the most of 1987. And ofcourse she must be good in bed..she is kinda nuts but I mean that in a good way ofcourse!

I read both the Heroin Diaries and the Dirt. Both are great, btw. Sixx speaks of Vanity in both books. What he has to say is not too flattering of her or himself, really. One thing he touches on in the Heroin Diaries was that part of the reason he continued the relationship with Vanity was because there was a certain type of understanding between the two. She came from a bad childhood as did he so he understood why she was acting the way she was. He was acting the same way.

I don't know if I believe everything I've read in these books, including things about Vanity but I still love Nikki Sixx and I love the Crüe.

Yeah. It seems to be (about Nikki) when things don't go his way or if they don't work out between him or someone else, the only way he can deal with it is put the other party down, or that's the way he dealt w/things when he was a user.

It's too bad things couldn't of worked out between her and Nikki. She was his most beautiful girlfriend IMO and if they would have had children, I'd assume they'd be SO beatiful. I know..shallow of me.

Not shallow at all. I agree with you.

I knew someone on here was a Crue fan. I 'aint mad at 'cha!!

Sixx, IMO, is Sick! I'm not buying the act. But for his own spiritual growth and for a happier life, I hope that he truly and honestly is trying to see the brighter side of people.I didn't like the way he put down V in The Dirt.(You don't have to be a Crue fan to read trashy books). But I do think they may have been drawn together for a reason. We are all drawn to people for a reason. Maybe a soul connection?? Nevertheless, I just wish someone else would write something. Mr.Sixx will talk and write about anything. But V needs to drop that book soon. Come on girl. Let's hear your side of the story. (His ex-wife will soon be blowing the lid off some things for sure).

I just wish V the best in life. And I hope that she finds love and happiness.
Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.

I read the dirt too, very interesting but depressing too! Nikki and Vanity's relationship was pretty abusive, co dependant and painful. But totally understandable when you think where they were at the time in their lives..I'm sure they felt that at least being with eachother was better than being alone..but the herion diaries really took me there and I can imagine where they were in their minds at the time from the writing...

They were drug addict like most of the Rock Stars of the 80s. So who really cares. Yeah you did drugs and lived to talk about it. So now what? Another book or even a movie? Huh? The Vanity book still not out yet..huh? I guess it really wasn't that important to publish the book or it would have been out by now.
