Some of the tracks were outtakes (Data Bank, Donald Trump Black Version, etc) that were started before the group disbanded in 84. Squirrel is right... the last TIME album ended up being a Morris Day album. About 10 years back a new album called Old Dogs, New Tricks was talked about.... I'll believe all of the "new Time album" rumours when I see an album in my hand. I would love Prince to be involved but I'd still buy it because I love Morrises funky style!!! They can't record a new CD or tour under the moniker without his permission. Also, they've had a new CD "in the can" for over 4-5 years. Not sure if this is going to be the same thing, but it's been completed forever, and yes, Prince does play on it. If it breaks when it bends, you better not put it in. | |

I think you're referring to their unreleased album 'Old Dogs,New Tricks' which was recorded in 1997.It's rumored that Prince and Lenny Kravitz both contributed to this project.I know that Jam and Lewis were also involved,to a lesser extent.Here's the tracklist: THE TIME 'OLD DOGS,NEW TRICKS' Cowgirl Style Who Says A Funk Band Can't Play Rock?
