Prince wrote Shockadelica about her in 1986 after or while he was seeing her due to her "witch-like" vibe. She was rumored to be pregnant with his child around the Diamonds and Pearls era and later appeared in the video for Sexy MF.

I feel a little sad about the pattern, Troy miscarries. Mayte almost miscarries carries to near term then delivers a deformed baby. Makes me wonder if the baby Troy was carrying had similar birth defects and nature took its course and miscarried that one.
Now I am becoming more convinced that this Pfeiffer syndrome maybe something more than a recessive gene (that probably would not repeat it later other offsprings).

I have been coming to this board since the late 90's and only heard that P was pissed at her for making the annoucement. I never heard anything to even say if she was really PG with his kid.
