Hi mods & members,

ok, I understand the marketplace forum is gone. That's ok since there hasn't been much traffic near the end.

As some other members already mentioned, other forums tend to get more and more threads simply announcing some ebay auctions.

Now, I'm on here for two reasons: One is having fun talking to other members and reading some fucking bizarre and hilarious posts. The other is my collecting fetish of course.

There's really a large number of threads addressing collectors' topics...

• auctions
  
• the origin of an item
  
• how to tell if an item's genuine (especially in the light of some ebay stunts)
  
• which tracklists do exist for an album like "Come", TGE etc.
  

I could go on and on. The number of threads on "Prince and music" is that large so threads keep disappearing quite soon. I might be wrong but I think there are more people who would prefer a pure forum of collectors' threads to "What if...", "Song Of The Day", "Prince compared to xyz" and the like.

Maybe this question has been posted a thousand times - if so I'm sorry, I usually don't look this forum that often. Unfortunately, the search function still isn't working (otherwise I would have done some research first).

Well, just a suggestion. What do y'all think of it?

I think it's worth discussing. A forum specificall for collectors and their concerns...?
