What will The Org be like in five years?

I'm sure the traffic has died off a good bit in the past few weeks here and I'm wondering what this site will be like in 1 or 3 or 5 years and beyond.

.

Personally I think it will be about the same as it was 2 or 3 years ago...or maybe even busier. I had lost touch with a lot of my Prince fandom (although I always loved him) and I felt like Prince was semi-retired. So I rarely checked here unless something was going on, which wasn't that often. P went 4 years where he didn't release an album and he played live very sporadically, especially in the USA.

.

Maybe we won't get any more tours, but live shows and outtakes and rehearsals will probably continue to surface and start circulating among fans. And of course eventually some releases from the Vault so we will be getting "new" music.

.

Of course the community here is the most important thing and while people will drop out, I think we will come here to still talk about Prince's music, just like we always did. And to remember him and share how much we miss him. In a way, not much will change, although of course everything changed.

.

I hope Ben has some kind of plan as to keep this site going if he leaves the planet as well...life is just so tenuous. But we need this purple community and I don't think that will ever change.

RodeoSchro

Hopefully we'll be seeing pictures of a 62-year-old RodeoSchro, still playing guitar with his shirt off.

if Ben & co. are willing, I think it'll still be around smile his catalogue is endless, & that's really the root of what this site is about - appreciation for the music above all. Sure, there'll be less people overall, but I think discussions about his stuff could go on forever. At least the crazies will be weeded out by then lol

Well, I know that, for me, this site is more important than ever. Maybe that will change.

White, Black. Puerto Rican, every body just a Freakin'.
