14 years, 2 months, 8 days over here. I dropped off for a while in the middle to live life and raise kids but I recall the old days so vividly. I'd spend literal HOURS on here chatting with everyone. Loved being part of the Music Club and getting those front row perks (I never had "FIRST" row, but I was mighty close up there!) I have always said and always will, one of the best memories of my life was during my time on the Org right before, during, and after 2002's Xenophobia Celebration at Paisley Park. Meeting everyone on the Org, then actually meeting so many in person at the Celebration. Immediately one big beautiful family. I flew up to Minny all alone but never ONCE during my whole week did I EVER feel alone!! LOVE ALL YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!

Wow. That's a long time...

Even though I don't post much, I read a lot of here every week, and this community has been superb over the years. So thank you all (even the people whose opinions I don't agree with )

I joined the site on 2001. I was actually the YOUNGEST MEMBER on Prince.org at the time and the other Prince sites as well...

I actually got banned from this place back in the day if I recall when I was very young, for over posting... Anyway if u want to know my username... It was GlamSlam.

I believe i was 11 or 12 when i joined the org and princefams and housequake... I think I was unofficially the youngest Prince fan to join the fan sites

Same here. My name used to be 'iwishuheaven', but I lost track of the password eventually, or maybe it was the 'member purge' that others have mentioned.

WOW it has been a very long time for me.. 14 years here and at least 6 on the old site. It was fun, it was interesting, we had alot of good discussions, some fakes, and imposters..

I've been a "legal" Org member for a little over 10 years, but I was on AMP and regularly on the Org way before I decided to sign up and start posting.

I think I discovered AMP in late 95? Early 96? I remember getting some CDs from T ("preposiTion" was AMAZING), ordering a few boots based on recommendations... So definitely over 20 years of being an online Prince fan.

It'll be interesting to see where the Org goes from here... or Prince fandom in general. Commentators keep bringing up Tupac, and how there have been more albums released posthumously than when he was alive. With the Vault, we have the possibility of Prince being a "household name" for years to come.

The Org has been an invaluable resource over the years for us to share opinions, swap stories and hear and discuss the latest news.

Thank you. I know it's been an extremely difficult time, but the Org is still the place we can all come to share memories, stories and keep the music alive.

I am not sure how long I've been here. I has on account from April 2003. I was looking as my older post. And i have to say i made some mistakes. I wish I would have stuck much more on this part of the boards. I am grateful I am able to post here...

I officially joined 6 years ago, but lurked for a long time before then and do so now. Don't always have something so say, mostly read and keep up with the news.

8+ years this go around, but I had two accounts prior. I started lurking in the mid 90's, banging on a Compaq Presario playing the Prince Interactive CD and attempting to download Prince's music from Napster
