Why does the website look like this!?!?!

I know I've been incredibly shady as of late, but this is an honest question. This is so 90s.

Something sleeker/prettier/more glorious. What do I have to do to push website re-modeling???

Prince would be ashamed... lol

I was thinking about a nice homepage with all the latest news scrolling (star wars style, but not slanted or in that horrible yellow font in the starry background) up. A little icon on the side that you click to get re-directed to the forums, an actually current, current events tab on the other side. The bar up top stays, but it gets a new look and moves when you scroll up or down.

You know what I'm saying?

Casuals my age'll come here get embarassed, be like wtf, and leave without giving it a chance. We gotta upgrade!! It's not 1999 anymore!!!

So, theoretically. If I became rich, how much money would it take?

I was thinking it had to do with money. At least it's cheap/free.

The MJ site has a monthly goal of $250 to keep the site running the way it does. Once you donate, I noticed that your status goes from "member" to "donator". I wonder what happens if you don't meet the goal.

The Founder of the org.

Would I pay up to help? Without hesitation "yes".

Be thankful the org is FREE and has been around for a very long time.

An overhaul using the existing software is a huge, huge task.

Creating a brand new forum using modern day forum software like XenForo or vBulletin would be easier, but we'd probably have to start from scratch, as it might be pretty crazy to try and import 15+ years of databases that were built in an entirely different system. It's likely possible but would be hugely time-consuming.

I've been creating a business plan for a Tidal add-on (unofficially). Such a thing would incorporate a "Forums" tab.

But, how much, realistically, would we have to raise and how much traffic does this site usually see in a day and in a week?
