When a bootleg has yet to be released, a bootlegger (that will generally nowadays release product in relatively limited numbers) will seek to secure advance orders.

We do not want to be challenged on the basis that discussion of product is interpreted as promotion of the purchase / sale of bootlegs.

In America one does not need legal grounds toi file a lawsuit.

Now, the party being sued can ask for the suit to be dismissed on the basis of no legal grounds. But that takes money. The party being sued has to hire a lawyer to: (1) research the matter; (2) write and file a brief asking for dismissal; (3) attend any hearings on that request for dismissal; and (4) respond to any appeals should the party being sued win.

Prince hires expensive lawyers. You can't fight expensive lawyers cheaply. So Prince (or anyone else) could sue Ben personally as the owner of this site and cause Ben to spend thousands of his own dollars, just to get a bogus suit dismissed.

If Ben didn't want to pay to fight the suit, he might offer to settle. What could he offer other than a promise to shut down the Org?

So unless people who want the Org to remain open so they can discuss things that will get Ben sued want to fund Ben's legal costs, I don't see how anyone can fault the mods for protecting Ben's financial interests.

That's just the way the system works here in America.
