Yeah it's been happening to me quite frequently too. I'm in the US Northeast and it seems to go down whenever there's winter storms and also around the time most people get out of work.
Could this be an issue where the server is crashing whenever too many people are trying to access the site at the same time? "Never let nasty stalkers disrespect you. They start shit, you finish it. According to the sticky directly above this thread, there's been no issues for nearly 3 years.
I know server upgrades can be pricey, has there ever been any consideration given to generating ad revenue or accepting donations?

I noticed it was happening after Prince shut down all his watering holes. I just assumed it was caused by there being lots more thirsty fans here. Or that Ben was tinkering with something. What? | |

That or ............... yeah it's been down for me at times. When I notice it's crashed I let the Founder know.
