Prince charts at #7 on Grammy's 25 Most Memorable Live Performances Special

Source: http://mynightatthegrammys.com/ -j7

Updated nfo: The special will be hosted by Alicia Keys.

The special will feature 25 memorable live performances from past Grammy shows. Viewers got to determine the play list via online voting. Interviews with the musicians will air in conjunction with their televised performances.

Right now, on the web site, Prince & Beyonce's performance is the 1st clip, which automatically plays. There is no mention of the order so I guess we will have 2 c if/where he charts.

It airs 2night at 8 P.M. on CBS.

Oooh! I hope they air that performance. That was my first major exposure to him. And it saved me from Justin Timberfake.

The longer it takes..the more I worry.

Hope he charts and wonder what quotes from interviewers will be used.

I hope I feel better by then 2. Coming down with something awful.

Didn't like it then, won't like it now! Beyonce was a mic hogging, showboating diva that thought she was doing Prince a favor and Prince was only trying to come back so he could get himself back on top long enough to pull his current crap!!

Thanks but no thanks!

I do think however, Ben should send Prince an invoice for all this free marketing he gets! There's not one incoherent, gibberish, mumble over at 3121.com about this historic repeat performance.

Over here it gets stickified because over here...it's understood that some people might be interested in watching, would like to have this kind of information and would like to openly discuss the show when it happens with other people who are watching, that are not sitting next to them in their living rooms.

My bad! I must have overlooked the part of this topic that said, "Only discuss the music." Let me check again...

Hmmm...no! I still don't see it! shrug

So, to answer your question...since I'm a citizen of the United States of America with the inalienable right of Free Speech, it has absolutely nothing to do with the music, it wasn't intended to! wink

his per4mance from the 85 grammy was WAYYYYY better than that bullshit with beyonce
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Exactly what I was thinking! Now that was the performance to highlight!

Baby I'm A Star - had the place rocking and his exit was classic P!
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U
All of it. Everything. Is U.

falloff Yes, yes I do giggle but musically speaking that performance was amazing! It was awesome to see the looks on the faces of the musically elite as Prince...the one I was sooooo crazy about at the time, put it down, as only he could! The crowd shots were hysterical, it was like they just couldn't believe it and had just witnessed a miracle!

Now that...I'd love to see again!
