Kansas City downtown parking...any ideas?

Was wanting to know if anyone had any ideas on where the best place to park in downtown KCMO would be near the Midland Theatre. ( the venue for the 4 U concert) Am from Missouri, but just don't know the downtown area that well. Any ideas, Fam?

Thanks in advance,

Good morning children...take a look out your window, the world is falling...

That's the Power & Light district and there is parking all around. Looks like a big parking lot just 2 blocks down or one at 12th & Main behind the Midland. More then likely you have to pay to park.

Kinda what we figured. Already have a hotel booked only 3 minutes away, whew! Expensive downtown. Wish you all were able to go!

Shoot just park at the hotel and walk down, if it's close. They have the new light rail and it is free that you can hop on. I wish I could go too! sad Looks like it goes right next to the Midland.

Hope you enjoy the show, only a couple of more weeks to wait.

Good job...it's what we are here for. I am teaching my grandson (13) who the musical greats were from different eras. We both love music, and it has strengthened our bond together. Everyone else in the family thinks we are nuts, as we sing out every song that comes on the radio!

Thanks in advance,

When my sister and I went to see Sheila E. at the Kansas City Live venue, we parked at the Kansas City Live parking garage. Kansas City Live is a little covered outdoor area surrounded by nice restaurants on all sides. The parking is underground and we took an elevator up to street level. The Midland is right around the block from KC Live. It was very nice parking and I think it's like somewhere between 8 to 10 dollars to park. If you get there a little early, I believe you can get your parking validated by showing a receipt from any of the restaurants or bars there. KC Live Parking Facility, 151 E 13th St, Kansas City, MO 64106. My GPS led me straight to the garage.
