Paisley Park

I am on a road trip and as we were going thru Minnesota I suggested much to my partners disdain that we go to Paisley Park.As we were driving east on interstate 94 I noticed how the sky in front of us looked just like the cover on ATWIAD album ...the same blue and a myriad of white ,fluffy clouds.About 20 miles away from the 494 exit I noticed one billboard forPP .It was ,however, very difficult to read from the highway as it was very dark. We took the 494 to go south and as we didnt have a GPS or cellphones,we relied on an old fashioned map...all I knew was Audubon Road.Needless to say we ended up asking for directions which was interesting .The first person did not know what PP was eek .then I said where Prince lived and she said "oh your looking for Princes home" which I thought was sweet .We got a bite to eat and I asked the waitress for directions to PP and once again I got a bewildered look until I said I was looking for Princes home to which she verified the directions. After I thought this was interesting as didn't the 911 dispatcher on April21,2016 not know what PP was?????? Anyway we came to PP via Audubon Road .I was looking for a very large white building isolated in the middle of a large green field ...I was surprised to find it on the corner of route 5 ,a very busy road and at the end of an industrial park with buildings very nearby. It was also much smaller than I had imagined. In fact ,if it had not been for a small brown sign partly obstructed by bushes. I may have missed it completely.I do think more advertisement and signange would be helpful..Anyway I was super excited to see it and my partner pulled over on the road so I could relish the place and take it all in .There were about 20 people outside whom ,I assume were waiting for a tour.Overall it peaked my interest toactually plan a proper trip and tour...I wonder was any one else surprised by the location of PP?
