Any London gathering the weekend of 21st April? I've seen there's one at the Grand, but no others. |

Been looking myself and haven't found anything. Would really like to go to a bash and I'm looking at the Grand one ... but I honestly thought there would be alot more interest from UK fans to do something to mark the weekend. I've been debating it sooo much. The Macbeth is miles out for me and I kinda don't want the pub/alcohol vibe. However the Ritzy is small and I want to dance. Update: I'm doing the Ritzy. It's an independent cinema and cafe that runs events in an upstairs 2 storey bar. In my experience it's usually drinking downstairs and dancing upstairs, with chill out space on the balcony. I'd say it takes 300 tops. It's a good vibe, but then I'm usually there for blues and swing dancing nights, which are light on drunkeness and big on dancing. I'm looking out for a purple dolphin. | |

PS If you want a big club vibe then Clapham Grand is your place, but from friends who've been it's high alcohol low class. Probably ok if you're a mainstream clubber, but I only go to venues where I can dance without getting groped. I'm looking out for a purple dolphin. | |

I'd prefer decent patrons over low alcohol prices and handsy dancers, so will give the Grand a miss. Huge shout out to all the lovely orgers at the Ritzy tonight. Thank you for making a sad anniversary into a chance to dance, and wow can orgers dance! There were proper Prince fans a-plenty at The Grand. Rather less so at Kesington Roof Gardens. |
