Visiting Bloomington, MN - Paisley Park

Hi Org Family! I will be in Bloomington, MN on business next week. I of course checked to see how far Paisley Park is from my hotel. It is about 15 minutes away. But, to my dismay, Paisley Park is not open on the days I am there! I'll have to return again. So, I plan to drive out there and at least see it. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Can I only drive by, can I pull over, can I take pictures, etc.? Also, native Bloomingtoners, if you have any suggestions for restaurants, please feel free to chime in.

Mods - side note - Thoughts on creating a new forum around Paisley Park? I thought about putting this in Fan Gatherings, but, this won't be that, and I really wasn't sure where to put it but here. Perhaps the forum can be around the museum itself, and I am sure there will be more people like me making the visit, and can place messages like this there. Just a thought.

Peace to you.

You can drive by. You can also park on a side street and walk along the outside of the property along the fence. You can take pictures.

When I was there late October I pulled over and the police where there in less than a minute to run me off.

I was able to get some pictures. It was a surreal experience. I was the only one there. I pulled over on the highway and had no issues. I also drove around a few times to get photos to share with my family. I stayed in the truck the whole time though.
