Friday 10th June at the Brooklyn Bowl at the O2 Arena London ... Prince birthday celebration, a Prince vs Bowie night!

There's a group of us heading to this now, so if anyone wants to pop over to say hi, more than welcome.

anyone go to this? how was it, we arrived after having drinks elsewhere and they were closed! think the 6pm - late opening hours got me confused, was all done by 11:30/midnight.

Was dead in there to be honest. Had a good night as I caught up with friends, but the dancefloor had about 8 people on max. Last time we were there they went on 'til just after midnight but they wrapped things up at 11.00 ths time which was disappointing.

DJ's did a good job, alternating between Bowie and Prince, and they played a couple of requests for us. They did repeat a couple of songs, but other than that they did well. Just hope if they do a Prince even again its a better turn out.

yep thought it might be, dont think brooklyn bowl has really taken off here so far as a bar/place to listen to DJs. not bad as a live venue though, was cool to see maceo parker there a couple of years back.
