London gigs!! Beer anyone?

THouight I would start a thread to discuss possible meetups, pub rendezvous and other such events in the first couple of weeks in August!

i'll have a a beer with u! time and place, i'll be there. I fancie that VIP trip my self, what do u think?

How you doing? It's been a while. Your is well recieved, I will savour the jucy aroma, and pray the scent lingers in my nose right up until August 1st.

I'm attending (so far) the 1st, 10th and 11th of August shows, with the 11th being VIP. Bring it on baby!!

Getting flights from Glasgow, accommodation etc. is the only thing that has stopped me from booking more dates.. Oh, and getting time off work I suppose!

However, it would be nice to meet up with anyone I know or would possibly like to know.

I'm going on the 3rd, 4th, 10th and VIP on 11th so far.
Having a clingy toddler who hates when his mummy goes out of the room, let alone away for two weekends in a row is the only thing that's stopping me from going to ALL the dates!
Definitely up for meeting before any of these gigs!!

Im going on the 1st(VIP), 4th, 10th, 14th, 18th, August and 1st and 13th September.
Wanted to go on the 11th but no tix, not even VIP. plus im working but I,m gonna pull a sickie at work and try and get tickets outside.
Im up for pre-gig meet ups, sounds great.

i have tix 4 all nites bar 1 nite i don't think i can go, and i'll b getting tix 4 all the other shows and figure out getting there etc closer the time

i got accomodation sorted 4 1/2/3/4/10/11/17/18/31aug /1/9/10/11/12/13sept and will prolly stay down for the shows on 16/17 and back on 18th sept and back down on thursday for the last two shows on 20/21 sept

i'm gonna b getting an open return train ticket so i can leave a day or so early and stay late if more gigs r announced. i got flexible time off at work so i can come and go.

it's just the gigs on 7/14/28 aug and 6th sep that i might skip as those dates r on thier own. if more shows r announced back 2 back from them i'll go down. i need a 2 show minimum 2 c prints these days i got vip tix on the 1st nite so got a spare normal ticket, and if i dont go on those 7/14/28/6 shows i'll have them spare 2. almost all tix r lower tier

as ppl r spread over hotels all over london, i think thats needed is a bar that is close 2 the o2 (ie the bar in the o2) so that it's pretty fixed that every nite from x time to y time ppl will b there 2 meetup, rather than change venues and times and stuff.

as the 02 isn't open yet, it's hard 2 plan whats inside, so does any londonners know any places nearby that would suit?

i'm staying at a mix of places, such as the holiday inn docklands and custom house docklands and a place near hyde pack for the long stretch in september (i'm hoping 2 find some1 2 share rooms on 3/4/17/18/31/1). my mum is making me one of them pearly kings suits made of buttoms with a big symbol on the back and 3121/prince down the side so i can fit in with the locals and the white stripes

Agree with unique. Best place to meet is some bar close to the O2. I wouldnt do the o2 bar though, too many people maybe not interested in fans, but somewhere close to the venue... if any londoners have some ideas ... jeez its three months ahead and Im thinking on this? Im not sane.
