Pffft...the content is an innocent nasty...which makes it a good nasty. Now if Lil Kim sang it, it'd prolly be nasty nasty. The refrain and softness compliments the funk. I don't know if you wrote the lyrics, but I like the progression too | |

 Well, you're supposed to like it in the Eddie Hascal way! BUT you, as a musician/friend, are supposed to also love the technical aspect. He sent me an MP3 which I converted to audio and loaded into cakewalk. I sang along about 3 times, just ad-libing I think I had the idea for the first verse and I just did the spoken/moaning parts. I played all 3 takes together and got some interesting effects. I had to edit some stuff out and do a little rearranging but not much. A few weeks later I came up with the second verse and the "rap" and then decided how I was going to arrange my vocals over his music. I love the background singing mixed with the foreground. Is that all YOU? YES.
If so get back with yo badass, CakeWalk mastering self.  Thank you! So yeah, basically I did the mix down and created the mp3 you're hearing now. So what I'm thinking is either he can put effects on my wave files or I will. Then he can combine my voice with his music on his computer. Then it should be pretty cool, huh? | |

oh man. I'm kiddn. 777-9311 never sounded so good! This shit is just way too funky. Roll the vocals back some - they're too much up front compared to the other parts. (yes, I know, you said it's the rough, but I'm givin you my feedback anyhow. so NYAH!!!). EDIT: Turn that rhythm track into some stereo shizzle. As it is, it sounds way to demo-ish. At the very least, put some reverb on it with a lo-end filter (so the bass doesn't hit the reverb as much as the other parts of the spectrum). I'm working my butt off today, when I'd rather be in my studio. This kind of productivity from other org artists just fuels my drive more.
