JJ comes across as really ugly in this interview. It seems that all these people knew a different Prince. Susannah knew one ,Jill knew another,Jerome knew another etc...and if what one says doesn't fit in with anothers experience then they get crazy , or I should sat JJ goes crazy. We on the org were not close to Prince but we listen to and read all the history so we hear from Susannah that Prince was madly in love with her in Nice , but then we hear from Eric Leeds (i think) that Prince sent S home to Minneapolis while he was having some fun etc....So we understand the time period from diferring angles .No ,we did not know him personally but we see sthe same story from many differing angles

good post. I think we are or can be like that too. One way around parents, another around siblings, another around close friends/best friends, coworkers, neighbors.

For whatever reason I think JJ placed herself in a position where she might have thought she was the closest to Prince, therefore knew more than all of them. Which of course isn't true. She didn't know Sheila E was coming into the studio to do the lead vocals on songs she did background.

I mean it is sad for her, but she needs to be more graceful. Attack others, who have not attacked her isn't a good face.

I'm going to listen to it after dinner. Did she feel comfortable as a result to say not so good things about Prince?

They both really criticised Prince.org .I think JJ should be happy that we are discussing and studying Prince's music, hashing out his lyrics and how they can be interpreted through the different eras .His associates who don't like the org should stay off the podcasts and keep their memories to themselves, or at least don't read the org cool

JJ talking to a bitter banned ex org member probably

There are so many other FB pages and groups talking shit about Jill

Hell, reading that, if it wasn't for Prince, I might not care to finish that Prince & Jill Jones era thread

If it wasn't for us Prince fans, nobody would probably even know them or care. Yet they can't seem to keep their eyes off of the org.

He is an idiot who thinks all fans are uneducated and stupid. I do not know any fans who want to hear shitting covers of Prince songs because that is the only way the music will not die.

Prince did not even like people covering his music because most of the covers suck.

The people who are claiming him are not all black and Prince was always about his people and never turned his black music. This guy is a dumbass.

Jill and her co-host / co -person sound so bitter and Prince's music will live on because it is good music. It does not need lame people to sing it. THey need to release it and let be played. I love old Jazz singers because I like them not because someone even like Prince pulled out a song or too.

.

They are acting like they are important and dissing fans.

And then people wonder why the Prince fans don't like them.
