Madame Program (Episode 1)/Voyeur Lune EP

Hiya, how the heck are you all? I used to hop on this site all the time when I was in highschool. Sometimes, I would even make a post or two. Anyway, I recently finished the first episode of an ultra low budget show and have gotten around to posting it onto YouTube along with an EP I recorded in my spare time.

I honestly don't wanna be a spammer and all, but the site was on my mind today what with the news of the new music from Prince and all, so I figured I might as well put the links up here and get a few more views than the usual 15 I get (thanks Mom lol). Reminds me of when I used to post really bad poetry I would write here razz

Madame Program is a show that I've wanted to make for an extremely long time. Growing up, I was always into B-Movies and the appeal of cheap, purposefully bad special effects. It raised me to be a very sarcastic person, which kinda makes me a bit of a hipster according to everyone I know. Or a beatnik, whatever. I'm getting off topic. The show is heavily inspired by classic TV shows like The Young Ones, Monty Python, Not The 9 O' Clock News, and various late night talk shows. I purposefully kept things nonsensical simply because I needed an outlet for my more boisrous ideas and gags, after a long semester of mediaand acting classes that demanded the upmost seriousness.

As for the EP, it's a mess. A total mess if you ask me. At the same time, I love how much of a mess it is. It kinda reminds me of a coked out hasbeen trying to rekindle his creative flame. I needed a band for Madame Program and I figured I could slap a song together and mime it for the video, which is what happened. The songs for the EP were all recorded in the wee hours of the morning and done in a couple takes each. Don't even get me started on the singing confused You can tell I'm really defensive about this thing lol Anyway, I made it and it's a bit of a companion to Madame Program I suppose.

Purple is the color of my heart,
Bruised from you leaving me.

Okayyyyyyyy

Let me explain this to you

I've been an artist for decades

First you produce and can't have the distance to judge your own work

Then your art becomes more easy to create

Don't be harsh on yourself, you might see in a wile taht it's good, but you can refine it in the future, with more experience, or leave it that way because you see by your own eyes IT IS GOOD

In option, if others tell you it's good, just take it as granted and say thank you smile

ANd at last but not least

YOU CREATED a song, dialogue, from a blank sheet to "something". Whether it is good or in progress, you created something from nothing, you actually made Art from your heart, mind, whatever.

Be glad !!!
