Help with Roland Sequence File (SVQ)

Someone made a sequence file for me for "The Bird" by the Time and I want to see his parts. He did it on a Roland Juno and it's saved as a SVQ file.

From what I could find on the net, only rolands can open that (vs. MIDI). In theory he can convert it to midi but not sure he will be albe to.

ANyone here know how I can convert it? Or any generous soul with a roland want to convert it? You'd get the benefit of his working out the parts for the Bird?


(Also, what program would one use to VIEW the midi file as notation?) Sorry but I don't use pc's much for music, just my keyboards (my stuff is all yamaha ...motif, etc.)

He should be able 2 save this as a midi 0 or midi 1 file.

i know but i don't think he has time to do that. i have the file I really want (The Bird).

Do you have a roland? woudl be willing to do it? You'd get a free "bird" sequence
