I've been trying to think of band names for a really long time and I came across a song title of his that stuck in my mind like a sore thumb. It's a great title, and the song is cool, so I'm wondering if anyone thinks it's crazy/corny/lame to name your band after a Prince song or a variation of it...no it's not a Prince cover/tribute band, it's just an all out hard rock/psychedelic/funk band....what are your opinions...

My first band was called Headquake - a combo of Head and Housequake. And it was nothing like those songs but still... it was my little nod. Go for it. It's an obscure enough song, it's not like naming your band "Raspberry Beret" or something.
