Man, over the years you've just become so amazing on the kit. Just try to remember us little people on the Org that have watched you develop since you were 16. Those one-handed rolls are awe inspiring to say the least.

The quality of the videos don't hide your talent, can't wait until you get a web cam or something with a little better sound. I especially loved the Amen break and the One handed thin...how the fuck do u do that? Its so hard to keep a steady foot on the kickdrum and forget about the hi hat with my left foot..thats a cause for disaster. How long did it take you? I just about a new baby, and although its not real it's good for practice when I decide to get a real one

Had my Prince bug renewed since I saw him twice at the O2, awesome stuff. Man, I forgot I was 16 when I first started posting here, Im 24 this month 
I'll be sure to post some new better quality ones as soon as I figure out how to record videos on my new camera without killing the battery lol. : [Edited 12/2/07 22:25pm] Thanks man My main living now is teaching drums, shame your in the states? The one handed roll is just a trick really, sort of an illusion. I learned it watching the John Blackwell DVD. I been playing drums since I was 3 so about 20 years but most of that was trying to conquer the coordination problems of which you speak. Everyone goes through it but its not cos your a bad drummer, its cos your a human being and our limbs are not meant to do that naturally. Theres still tons of coordination patterns I really struggle with. Many drummers joke 'I would give my right arm to be ambedextrious' lol. Man I would love an electric kit. Would make practising a lot easier than the nasty rubber practise pad kit I have at home. Plus all the recording I could do! From all the ones Ive tried, Roland seem to be the best at mimicking the real thing. Hows about your music? [Edited 12/4/07 20:11pm] | |

Sadly I no longer practise at home apart from on drum pads. Neighbours would go mad if I played like that at home lol. Thankfully the studio I teach at has a kit and a sound proof room Im allowed to use so I get most of my practise in there. Thanks everyone! [Edited 12/16/07 6:15am] | |
