Hmmm. Are you sure you researched this enough? Because there is already a famous singer named Nico who sang with the Velvet Underground.

There are alot of bands and singers with the same name. There are alot of bands and singers with SIMILAR names. Elvis Costello is NOT the same as Elvis Presley. YET, I could NOT put out CD's under the name PrinCe, just because I capitalize the letter "C" I'm just trying to help her consider the possibility, before she spends many thousands of dollars: If NiCo has any level of success (let's hope she does) then the (estate of) Nico of the 60's, or whoever owns the legal rights to that name (being famous, I'm guessing its protected legally) will make NiCo (Natalie Nichole) change her name. I'm just trying to point out some things to consider. I doubt she'll be able to keep the name if she has any level of success... Just think about that before you spent alot of money manufacturing and marketing your CD.

World famous classical guitarist John Williams and the composer of the Star wars films John Williams. I know 2 bands named Los Canos.I'm sure if I did some homework I'd find alot of other same names.Do they really need to get a lawyer? Yes..Calling yourself Prince would be pretty odd because Prince is big name. But NiCo? Come on.. But I respect your opinion..it's always good to dubble check. Had to log in for this one.. Going back and enjoy my little holiday.See y'all soon.
