I bought the new song "That girl thang", got the receipt from paypal, but then received no email with my download links!

I've emailed them with a copy of the paypal reciept.

On Saturday, February 16th, I went 2 purchase all the files available including the Screwdriver video and the Live Screwdriver video, and all the files were in my cart, but then the site started crashing and by the time 3rd Eye Girl emailed me on Sunday morning, the Screwdriver video was gone from my cart and when I went 2 pay and download, all the other files worked 4 download and now I've got them (awesome!). I emailed 3rd Eye Girl about the Screwdriver video, but didn't hear back. I've tried emailing them twice since and still no response. This is so weird that such a simple website can't even offer simple customer service. Furthermore, they should be proudest of the Screwdriver video (since it's basically a commercial) and that file should still be up and front and center on the site. Sigh.

If you wait after you've paid via paypal you'll be redirectred to the 3rdeyegirl site and an invoice with all your links. There's no need to download via email in the first instance.

If you have an account you can access your downloads anytime by simply logging in.

To download, left-click the file and select 'save file link' (if using Google Chrome) or whatever 'save' option is available via your browser. To play/download the song, simply click on the zip and find the wav located in it. This should then play through Windows Media Player or be transferable to any other device.

No, I was redirected to the site allright but there it said that they would send me an email.

From a PR standpoint, this is another example of Prince operating an inferior website that ignores complaints, won't respond to emails, forcing customers to learn to resolve issues for themselves.

This should hardly surprise any of us.

I downloaded the two new tracks--they are zip files (I think) which I can't open. I don't have any problems downloading and playing itunes tracks. Prince--please get a website that is worth a crap!!! I've sent an email with my problem but no response yet.

Recently dloaded 'Breakfast' track just fine. Tried to enter account details a few days later for 'Boyfriend' but got message,

'Error: Invalid user': No response from 3rdeye when I emailed the problem to them them from said account

So created a different email and 3rdeye account - this worked and able to dload 'Boyfriend'

However, when i tried to enter the same account details a few days later - same error message!

Guest what? Sent another email to 3rdeye - again, no response whatsover. So set up yet another email a/c and tried to register yet another account using these details for access to site to dload 'That Girl Thang.' This time a different account didn't work. I'm still getting 'Error: Invalid user':

I, again, emailed 3rdeye - and guess what? No response several days later.

This is very poor customer service and, to be honest, I can't be assed to keep setting up email accounts just to dload one track only for the account to not be recognised subsequest times. With no support from 3rdeye what the hell am I supposed to do!

I'm liking the new tracks - minus That girl Thang which I can't access!

They really could give 2 s**** about us, but will gladly take our money. and b4 I hear from the morons that say"it's only 88 cents" I don't care if it's a flippin' penny. stealing is stealing and screwing over your fan base for 88 cents a pop is pretty pitiful. Absolutely zero regard or courtesy for paying customers. Shameful is what it is. Buyer beware!

2. click on song title

3. click on "add to cart" tab

(you will now be prompted to fill in a shipping address)

4. fill in whatever you like in the fields marked with a RED dot

5. choose the paypal option (through paypal you may organize your own custom payment method)

6. after transaction with paypal, you will be redirected back to 3rdeyegirl.com within 10 seconds (don't touch a DAMN thing!!!)

7. your order information will be very plainly presented before you on the screen. Underneath the recently purchased song entry will be a small printed hyperlink to your download.

8. *right click*

9 *save as...*

After that, yer on yer own!

First four tracks purchased and downloaded fine. Account set up and can log in and out and see this order. Boyfriend bought and paid for but can't access it. This order does not show up when log into my account. Emailed but no response. Raised as a concern on Paypal and sent a message that way. Message back was that Paypal unable to get a response. Has now been escalated to a claim by Paypal. Not bothered about 88 cents but hopefully if 3rdeyegirl gets enough hassle will sort herself out and get a website that works.

So in other words you're ok with a site that is unwilling to help their customers? Regardless if these steps you laid out work or not, errors will be made, be it by the site or the customer and therefore, someone needs to be held accountable to fix these situations.

I had ZERO problems d/l'ing anything from the site (and i'm a HUGE cyber-dummy lol )

I guess they had anticipated a more internet-savvy fan-base?

Let me tell you somethin nayroo. First, your attitude sucks and it is this attitude that is what's wrong with the world today! Secondly, Whether YOU are able to do it with no issues does not mean that EVERY single person is to blame for getting ripped off. In everything you pay for there should be customer support plain and fuckin simple! I don't care if it's as easy as blinking your eye to buy something, there should be customer service! This shouldn't even be Debatable!!

I've just had to purchase a song again to see my purchase history and guess what? First and second orders are in the history but the second order I made isn't, and that was the order with all the 'INVALID LINKS'. Like others, no reply from 3rdeyegirl.

Prince you little squirt, you may think you're ahead of the times, but you're not. It's time you got with them and stopped ripping people off. Just remember who pays for your silly outfits.
