What were all of the official Prince websites like?

LotusFlow3r.com
3121.com
NPGMC.

I've recently discovered a couple of music videos from the NPGMC and they weren't too bad!

I had know idea that there was a video 4 When Eye Lay My Hands On U OR The Undertaker! AND I've never heard Poor Goo before. The video and song are both strange, yet funky!

Were all of the Official Prince websites magical, funk-tastic and purple? Or were they just empty promises wrapped in purple tin foil?

IMHO, I found them incredibly boring.

They were very highly censored. Many of the members were trying to get Prince's attention so it was rather icky. There was the rare video or audio gem, but considering who Prince is and what he has done it was boring (again IMHO.)

On the NPGMC I use to say in chat that the site was like coming over to my grandparents' house. Had to be on my best behavior and use my best manners, the furniture was covered in plastic etc.

A couple of people that were here at the time would post there and it was funny, but for the most part (again IMHO) the sites were just something to check up on and get pre-sale tickets from.

I'm firmly planted in denial

They were like buying a timeshare in an old people's home.

I think Prince was here more than there.
