New Project Coming Soon?

Sorry if the title excited you... I'm just wondering something and would like some feedback.

So everyone knows our man works at a crazy pace. Do you think Lotusflow3r could be one of those albums that gets hardly any promotion, no tour, less-than-stellar sales, virtually no radio air time, and is seemingly forgotten by Prince himself... but then we're all surpised because 10 months after it's released we're given brand new material, meaning, a new album?

So. In a couple of months do you see the possibility of something new emerging? Could Prince be holed up right now, working on something bigger and better? We all know how he is. He's very choosy. Maybe he loves his latest work, but perhaps it's not inspiring enough for him to make a big deal out of it.

I don't know. Thoughts?

against popular belief I personally think we are gonna see a 4th 'universe' on Lotus sooner or later... can't be much longer now

Ya know.. with the Lotus project announcement and MORESO with the preview from that LA radio station thingie came out.. it was IN THE BAG. that LotusFlow3r would be ONE of those P projects that.... just....did it....

but I STILL have a lil hope for the website, I DO believe SOMETHING will come with patience.

the 'FUNK' cd that was talked about is already out there - he split it up over LF and MPLS...albeit a couple of tracks weren't put on cd...but the only ones I can think of that aren't pressed are PFunk and Turn Me Loose...

Prince has loads of stuff stored away - whether we get to see/hear any of it another story... personally after all the hype for the new site, I can't be bothered anymore....I'll just wait it out and see what happens....if its this year cool, if not, well - i sure as hell won't be paying again if he doesn't deliver something more in the next few months...

it seems strange that Prince is so 'quite' this year....maybe he's taking stock of what he wants to do...who knows, and frankly I'm beyond giving him much more thought....he's got my $$$ - its his turn now

His last four albums were mediocre at best so if he is working on something new, I'm not expecting much except more of the same.

He probably blames Target for the shitty sales of LOTUSFLOW3R.

It's seems as if most fans want unreleased previously done tracks, or bootlegs.

Hopefully he's working on some clips, putting together an up close and personal compilation of the best tracks he's done in the last 10-15 years. Something with accoustic guitar, piano and percussion. That would be cool.

Anything is possible. I love PRINCE and support whatever he does as I always have. $$$$$ is tight these days so if I am going to pay up $77.00 don't you think that it should be well worth it?????
Thanks for the understanding. LOTUSFLOWER is a cool idea.....but it needs to expand and broaden it's horizons. PRINCE is my favorite artist and he always will be!!

i can't believe he would perform IALRWNL and All Day All Night without them coming out, there will probably be something else coming out and there is always the possibilty of the dvd. regardless of what people say i'll buy whatever he releases like alot of people on here.
