Me either. Don't get me wrong, I adore the little hobbit,but I refuse to pay for something that should be free and open to all.BTW, do any of you think Prince even realizes we're in a recession? If he did, then that shows how insensitive he really is to the fact that not all of his admirers can afford to pony up the cash just to look at some old videos, and have our ears assaulted by the next Mrs. Nelson. I HATE when guys let a pretty girl just take over and lead them by their penises. |

I did not bother because of how he handle things with NPGMC, if he had of just been straight up with us instead of taken our money and bailing out on us I would have felt like he was being sensible by telling us what was up.....

Someone, indeed wants that and is going about it by pushing us away and purposely making us dislike him, thereby forcing us to walk away from him! It's cowardly to the max and the one thing Prince has NEVER been (and he's been a lot of things to me!) in all the years that I've known of him, in spite of his small stature and feminine appearance is COWARDLY! 
It just doesn't make sense! I'm labeled a Hater but I've loved Prince longer than I've loved the most important people in my life and that's my children and my husband. I sincerely wish there was something, anything I could do to fix what's wrong because I know with everything I am, that something ain't right! Of course, I'm a Liberal! I'm an American, damn it!

I joined back then in september 2001 (the club was then about 6 months old) and paid my $ 100. In january 2002 they suddenly announced a new year starting in march or so. No word to the people who joined later than march 2001 on what to do or that they would get their money refunded. After having to email them several times about it they told me they wouldn't refund me anything, but that I could join year 2 for "only" $ 60. I was like: Nice, that's $ 10 more than what I signed up for (because I got no more than half of year 1). I took it however because I didn't want the hassle of trying to get a refund, plus I was interested by the offer for year 2 (at least 4 new exclusive Prince albums - Best of  , Last december, ONA piano and Xenophobia)
So I got a year and a half of the club not for 150 but for $ 160. Then I got the ep ONA piano in the summer of 2002 and nothing else happend for the rest of that year. Untill (after much complaing by hundreds of fans) in the end he gave us the ONA live box, with another copy of ONA piano. Then all the Better Business Bureau shit went down. I thought he spit his fans in the face for breaching the agreement and "giving" them some digital downloads instead of CD's (Xpectations - duh! - and three soundtrack songs called C-note, what a joke!) After that I didn't join anymore. | |
