I will buy the CDs for better quality audio, and bypass the subscription site. I will search out the download-only track "Morning After" when the situation presents itself.

Absolutely. This CD set is too good not to get. It's pure FIRE.

Prince.org is a cemetery where folks mourn Prince instead of celebrate him and his music. Last time I checked, Prince isn't dead yet.

Hmmm.
Must get into it first.
Lotusflower is not too `hot` yet after one quick listen. (to the songs I didn't know yet)

Just to clarify, because at this time I'm a little confused.

Looking at all discussions on the org, it seems to me that:

a) "Boom" will be longer on the CD release
b) "Crimson & Clover" will be only on the CD release
c) "The Morning After" is only on the DL release
d) "Here" is only on the DL release

Is it true?!?!?!?
Am I missing something?!?!?!?

And after all your moaning about there not being a worldwide release.

I'll definately buy the cd, partly because of I'm a collector and partly because mp3 sucks and the cd-exclusive stuff.

That's why I downloaded the wav files. Lossless audio, so burning them to a CD is no different to having the original.

And now for a cup of tea.

Yup. I've downloaded the WAV versions of MPLSound and LotusFlow3r, but I'd like professionally replicated (not duplicated) versions of the albums. If I really hated the albums I'd stop there, but I don't hate them. Now I can't say I'm as excited about these albums as I have been for other content he's put out this decade, but 4-5 good songs would be worth the price of 12 USD alone. Looks like I can dig about half of each album.

I also like getting the album art and the liner notes.

I personally like to have the CD on my shelf. Data files somehow mean less to me than a physical product, and are too easily lost.
