HMV.CO.UK Release data for ONA Live?

www.hmv.co.uk are showing the release as 2nd December in the UK!!!

If this is the case there is no way club members in the UK are gonna get the cds before Joe Public!!!

Just imagine seeing it in the shops, and having to wait for an undetermined lenght of time for your copy to shop up!!!

I hope this does not happen...

Oh that's great. So we're going to have to look at the thing sitting in the shops but we don't get to hear it?

Maybe Prince is hoping his more fanatical members will buy a copy from the shops anyway... mad

In the last hour the price has changed from £50.99 to £49.99 for the set...could therefore be a UK release?

Some people on this forum have been told that the SET has already shipped to members, so hopefully this is true and it will hit our doormats very soon?? Wishful thinking no doubt!

If I wasn't already a Prince 'fan' but a floating voter (so to speak) would I risk £50 quid on Live Set I wasn't too sure about? No!

They'll be few fans who aren't club members who'll pick it up but this is not gonna be a big seller for the ickle fella

Maybe I'll be wrong.

If the set doesn't arive at my London address this week it...

If NPGMC sticks with mailig I'll join next year. Downloads no good for me.

Sometimes one must have the patience of a saint...

But do you know I once recieved 'The War' cassete through the post for no apparant reason?!

Plus I also recieved an invite through the Post to the now called 'Beautiful Strange' gig at Cafe De Paris in London.

Prince cares, he just can't personally satisfy every fan in the world!

Perspective can be a blessed thing!

I hope that this does not happen, also.

Do you think the Tonight Show program will make people in the
US go out and buy this CD for holiday gifts?
Or maybe the performance will be so good, that people will want
to own the CD?
Maybe so.
So...how's everybody doing? smile

So why is the status 'in progress'?
And not 'shipped'?
Or is 'shipped' to be expected when the goods have arrived?
Very handy...

But you have to look unde rthe 9th December releases to find the info.
So on 1 website it says its released on the 2nd December, 9th December and 12th February.
No confusion there then.

Blimey, 50 quid is a lot of money to pay for 3 CDs, I can't remember spending that much on a CD ever. I think my Pink Floyd The Wall special edition box set thing in a hard case, booklet etc cost only about £25. Not sure many casual fans would pay for this. Would be a tough decision if I was not a member and had to shell out the money directly.

And still it actually mentions the 'aftershow'-CD as "BONUS"?!??!?!?! shocked Somebody please explain the talented but greedy brother: 'Bonus' only to be used when offering a 3-CD set to the price of double... he's really only making us long 4 the 'good ol' WB-days

When you receive your boxset, don't forget to tell us what 2 Nigs sounds like! I'm very curious about this track! I thought the original was the SHIT!

Peace,

Antoon.
