Who is Going to the Cleveland Show?

Don't think another thread like this has been started, since I did a search, and everything that came up was about getting tix to the Cleveland show, and not who was going.

Just wonderng who all is planning on going to the Cleveland show on April 17th at the Gund Arena? I know of several orgers who live in the Cleveland area, and I'm curious to see if they got tix for this show. If you are going, please post and let us know. I definitely am going to the concert; I can't wait, it's going to be a super show!

Coming in from Chicago. I'm from Cleveland and the 17th is my birthday. There's no better reason 2 go home than 2 c Prince in my hometown.

Hope he gives the Hall of Fame City some props.

Maybe an after show at the hall? It's just down the street from Gund Arena.

got tix 2 columbus and cleveland..in hopes that 1 of them will have an aftershow...so far no luck in cleveland with an aftershow..there was supposed 2 b one in '97 @ the odeon...

Fellow Clevelander checkin' in, and a big fat YES, I will be there with two other folks! Can't wait for the show, and I hope to goodness the weather's not crappy that day. I wanna flex and floss for old times sake, ya know!

Think it'll be sold out? I got the impression that it will be. Stood in line for the tickets and a LOT of them were already gone.

eye'll be at the columbus and cleveland show, any1 know anything about preshow or aftershow meet ups?

As far as I know a lot of Detroit Crawl motor babies will be in Cleveland April 17. A lot of the Detroit Crawl family felt Cleveland was close enough -- at the time -- because neither Detroit or Chicago were announced as tour stops, yet.

Mamma Peggy will be in attendance. Yup - -the very one who got to be the "leaner" for Prince and danced back-to-back with him last Monday during the LA concert simulcast.

Some of the Cleveland Detroit Crawl members have thought about it and said that there should be a pre-meet and greet.

The location of the pre-concert meet and greet will be at Fat Fish Blue, on the corner of Ontario and Prospect. The restaurant is about a block from Gund Arena and about a 5-minute walk from the Hard Rock Cafe at Tower City Center.

Sorry, but yours truly and applekisses will not be in Cleveland for the gig. Instead we are going to the June 21 Detroit gig at The Palace.

Thank goodness I made it for the Rock Hall simulcast March 15, so in a way I was already in Cleveland for a Prince gig.

I'll be there, God willing and the creek don't rise.

What time are folks planning to arive at Fat Fish? If I can convince the DH to indulge me, I'd love to swing by and meet some other freaks...my family and friends think I'm nuts for lovin' the guy. (Um, Prince. Not my husband! )

I will be there!! Cannot wait. Been reading all the reviews and I must say I am more than just a little anxious.

hey everybody just want to say that i will be attending the show as well as some of my friends who much to my surprise got tickets through ticketmaster.com down near the floor. I won't be sitting w/them but that's ok cuz i will still see the man. Can't wait for the show as well. Hope to see all at fat fish blue. Hey has anybody heard of a possible afterparty or show? Wouldn;'t be surprised if there won't be one but who knows?

by the way those tickets were purchased just last week, so there still maybe a little time.

Went to simulcast and still can't get that out of my head. The Album is off the hook, but just one question? Was i the only one who thought that 1/2 this album was written for mayte but transferred to mani? I mean the brotha sure is flashing the ring alot! I guess just to remind HIMSELF that he is marriED!

I just called Ticketmaster last night to see if the Prince show on April 17 was sold out, and was told that there was still 100 seats left. I should call back next week to see if the concert will sell out; I'll be kind of surprised if it isn't.

Did you say Cleveland? Gotcha! Klock will be in attendance for this one. Comin' in from Grand Rapids, MI. This is bound to be a magical night. What time are people meeting up at Fat Fish Blue? I would like to meet some Detroit Crawlers.

Well, since the show starts closer to 8pm (or is it 7:30pm) ... Maybe Prince freaks from all over the Midwest coming to the Cleveland show should head on over to Fat Fish Blue around 5-5:30pm?

Some of the Detroit Crawlers will be leaving and and around noon or so April 17, then hitting the sites. I heard some might take a spin through the Rock Hall before the concert. A lot of the Motor Babies made it to Cleveland on March 15, but not all. Maybe they will have Prince's signature block finally in the hall of fame display.

Look for the Detroit Crawl motor babies wearing a special Detroit Crawl Musicology tour badge laminate. That's who you will know who is from Detroit. You can access the link below to download your own laminate or wait a few more days I doodle up special city laminate (Cleveland, Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Chicago, St. Paul, Milwaukee) for all the Midwesterns going to the Musicology tour stops.

Can you tell I've been hyped for this concert since the Severence screening of the LA show?

All of the Prince fans that I have met are not standoffish at all, they are very open and friendly. I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding anybody to dance with.

the weather report says it is going to be around 65 Saturday, so we are all lucky that it is gonna be nice, let me know where you guys are meeting up
